Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday dubbed Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav as a 'guardian' of Janata Parivar, adding that the alliance would stay united to fight the communal forces.
"Mulayam is our guardian, more than that he is our relative and he must have been upset due to some reasons...It is the need of the hour to stay united to fight communal forces..
If Mulayam is upset about something, we will definitely try to make things right," Lalu told media.
Mulayam had earlier stated that SP would not be a part of Janata Parivar after it was allocated just five seats for the upcoming Bihar polls.
However, Janata Dal (United) chief Sharad Yadav, who met Mulayam earlier today, said that no changes would be made in the grand alliance of all the seven parties and the 'Mahagathbandhan' would remain the same.
