Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday slammed YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy for giving credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi of setting up a car manufacturing plant in Erramanchi village in Anantapur district.
Condemning YSRCP leader's statement, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister said: "Reddy is making efforts to be friends with the Bharatiya Janata Party and the KCR for his own political motives and not for the development of the state." He urged people not to cast votes in favour of YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.
Election to the 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly is scheduled to be held on April 11 simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls for 25 parliamentary seats. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.
