NASA's Mars satellite Maven successfully lands in orbit

NASA's latest Mars satellite, Maven, has finally landed in the orbit above the planet successfully.
Principal investigator Bruce Jakosky said that though previous spacecraft had helped them "learn a lot about the upper-atmosphere," they hadn't been able to put a complete picture together yet, the BBC reported.
With Maven, which had been travelling through space for the past 10 months, they were hoping that they would be able to gain new insights about Mars' present as well as the past climate conditions.
