Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reportedly asked the US to play the role of a pacifier to normalize relations between Pakistan and India.

Sharif, after attending a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry on the sidelines of a two day nuclear summit in Hague, said that India was showing reluctance when it came to resolving the Kashmir issue.

Sharif said that if New Delhi is not willing to include a third force in resolving the Kashmir issue, then the US will have to play its role in normalizing the situation in the South Asian region, the Express Tribune reported.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has reportedly postponed its decision to grant MFN status to India.
