Patrick Dempsey and wife file for divorce after 15 yrs of marriage

Patrick Dempsey and his wife, Jillian Fink, have filed for divorce after 15 years marriage.

According to the statement in the papers, the pair said that "It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage. Our primary concern remains the wellbeing of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family's privacy at this very sensitive time," the New York Post reported.

It is believed that the couple did not sign a prenup, and Fink has reportedly asked for joint custody of their children, Tallula, 12, and twins Darby and Sullivan, 7, along with spousal and child support.

 

The 'Grey's Anatomy' star, 49, who got married in 1999, is worth around 40 million dollars.
