Porn star Jenna Jameson axed from Oxford University honorary membership

The famous porn star Jenna Jameson has been removed from the dignitary position she was holding at Oxford University.
The former American adult actress' honorary Junior Common Room (JCR) membership at St Edmund Hall has been pulled out from her by the authorities at Oxford University because of her extremely raunchy professional background, the Mirror reported.
Other titled members of St Edmund Hall passed a majority of 22 votes out of 26 during a meeting to remove Jameson from the position and said that having a porn star as a honorary member of the JCR reflects badly on them as a student body, as they doesn't support the idea of portraying the female body as a sex object.
Alice Nutting, a feminist by profession who opposed the decision explained that the 40-year-old entrepreneur left her business in 2008, and has opened her own porn company which supports women and produces porn which is less misogynistic, so removing her would be anti-feminist act.
Nutting added that the decision of pulling out a sex worker from all others was not at all an example of positive change, infact it would be a great example for others that a sex worker holds an honorary JCR membership.
