Queen Park Rangers were relegated from the Premier League after suffering a humiliating 6-0 loss against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick, with two of the goals coming because of poor defence and third via a penalty corner. Aleksandar Kolarov, James Milner and David Silva also chipped in as the hosts played the Rangers out of the park.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pelligrini was very happy with the team's performance, especially with the way Aguero played, saying that a he has changed a lot in the past one year, the BBC reported.
He added that the Argentinian striker has done a lot of hard work in the last one year and all that was paying off.
Meanwhile, QPR's relegation woes might be compounded by the fact that the club is facing a fine of up to 58 million pounds from the Football League under its Financial Fair Play rules. Failure to pay could see QPR being refused entry into the Championship, the second tier of English football.
