Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president, Rajnath Singh, on Sunday stayed away from making any statement on BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi's comments on Ram temple issue.

"I have not listened as to what comment has been made by someone. We have already made our stand clear in our manifesto," Singh said.

On Saturday, the vice-president of the BJP, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi raised the issue of building Ram Temple and said that it will be carried forward if the party comes to power, which is contradictory to his party's stand in its manifesto.
