'Rico Suave' star Gerardo Mejia says his culture 'normalized' bedding over 500 women

Gerardo Mejia, who shot to fame in the '90s with his popular song "Rico Suave", said that it was his Ecuadorian background that normalized infidelity for him and allowed him to sleep with 500 to 600 women.

He said that in his culture, as a Latin man, it's expected and his mom, when he finally confessed about everything, told his wife that it was fine as he was an artist and a man, the Huffington Post reported.

Mejia added that men get in trouble when they get caught, despite of thinking that they are so sly, as one day it comes back.
