Robert Redford has slammed the distributors of his film 'All Is Lost' after being snubbed by the Oscars, saying that they had no campaign.

The 77-year-old actor said that they suffered from little to no film distribution and he doesn't know why, probably they didn't want to spend the money or they were just incapable, the New York Post reported.

The veteran star said that it would have been wonderful to be nominated, adding that he was happy to be able to do the film because it was independent and it stood the chance of having a wider distribution had they stepped up.

Redford claimed not to be disturbed or upset by it, as Hollywood is a business, there's a lot of campaigning and it can be very political.
