Rohtas hooch tragedy: 12 police personnel suspended

Twelve police personnel, including five officers, were suspended on Saturday after four people died in a hooch tragedy in Bihar's Rohtas district.

Earlier in the day, the police had also arrested two liquor smugglers in connection with deaths.

As per the police, the incident took place after a group of people consumed liquor at a person's house who had invited them after conclusion of Chhath festival celebrations.

It is to be noted that there is a complete ban on alcohol consumption in Bihar.
