Rudd gives hair styling tips to female politician five days ahead of elections

ANI Sydney

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd was reportedly caught giving grooming advice to a female Labor candidate, despite denying he would ever do so.

Fiona McNamara said that she sometimes wears her hair how Rudd likes it and that he likes her to pull it up a bit so people can see her face.

Meanwhile, Rudd gave grooming tips to students in Queensland as part of his electoral campaigning against opposition leader Tony Abbott, news.com.au reports.

Rudd blow-dried a student's hair on his visit to St Columban's school and met another student, who owns a cat named after him.

He indicated that single mums could be returned to higher parenting payments if he remains in office after Saturday, the report added.
