ANI New Delhi

Security has been stepped up in the national capital ahead of the International Yoga Day celebrations to be held on June 21.

Delhi Police personnel have been keeping a tight vigil along with the bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs patrolling the streets to ensure no untoward incident takes place on the occasion.

As part of the celebrations, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is expected to release a book on yoga on June 21.

The text books on yoga for upper primary classes will include history, theory and practice of yoga with a brief description of each yogic posture.

The materials will be illustrative and explained in a simple language so that the students can learn and practice it even at home.
