Simon Cowell's ex-flame Sinitta 'distraught' over his baby news

Simon Cowell's former girlfriend Sinitta is "teetering dangerously close to the edge" following his baby news.

The 49-year old British-American singer's friends are concerned that she is heading for a breakdown since it was revealed the 53-year old music mogul is expecting a baby with his pregnant gal-pal Lauren Silverman, the Daily Star reported.

Sources revealed that the 80s pop idol is distraught that her former flame is starting a family as she believed he would eventually settle down with her, and hasn't been in a good way since she found out.

Sources added that she has already had a showdown with the Syco boss and the 36-year old New York socialite after she made her feelings on the pregnancy clear to them.
