Sonu Nigam is not against any religion: Aalim Hakim

Celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim, who shaved Sonu Nigam's head on Wednesday, said the singer is not against any religion.

"Sonu Nigam has not said anything against azaan. He is not against any prayer. Sonu is just talking about loudspeakers and not about any religion," he told ANI.

Following the 43-year-old-singer's controversial tweets against 'azaan' on Monday, Kolkata-based cleric Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi issued a fatwa against the 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' singer where he announced an award of Rs. 10 lakh for the person who would shave the latter's hair off.

When asked if he would accept the amount, Aalim said, "If he (Maulvi) has 10 lakh rupees then he should give it to me, I will donate it to some charity.
