Top Chinese journalist sentenced to seven years of jail for leaking state secrets

A court in Beijing has sentenced a top Chinese journalist to seven years of jail for leaking a confidential paper to a foreign website.
According to BBC, the court in Beijing said that Gao Yu, 71, had "illegally provided state secrets to foreigners".
It is believed that the case is related to a document of a Communist Party strategy paper known as "Document No 9".
The paper is said to call for aggressive restrictions on democracy, civil society and the press.
