Pakistan ace off-spinner Saeed Ajmal has reportedly been not included in the World Cup squad despite getting the ICC's green signal for his reformed action due to a tussle with a top PCB official.
According to the Dawn, a PCB official said that while it might seem like Ajmal was not being rushed back into action as he was not match fit, the real reason for not including him goes back to August 2014.
The official further said that the incident took place after Pakistan lost the third and deciding ODI of its series against Sri Lanka at Dambulla, after which a PCB official stormed into the dressing room and let fly at the team, the report added.
In response, Ajmal told the official that he had no business being in the dressing room and that was where this drama started.
Earlier this month, Pakistan brought in fast bowler Rahat Ali in place of injured Junaid Khan for the World Cup.
