A US Navy Admiral has said that America's dominance has weakened in the shadow of a more aggressive China.
Chief of U.S. Pacific Command Samuel J. Locklear III suggested that Washington should be working overtime on steering Beijing towards a cooperative security position, as it was unclear whether it will seek to be a hard adversary to the U.S. in the long term, the Washington Times reports.
He stressed that China was growing, and the goal of the Pacific Command is to make China a net provider of security, not a net user of security.
