US athlete films video of 'wolf' roaming around Sochi hotel

A US athlete has reportedly filmed what appears to be a wolf wandering in the halls of the hotel in Sochi, where she is staying for the duration of the 2014 Winter Olympics.

This comes after reports of broken showers and secret camera attached to bathrooms in Sochi hotels.

21-year-old luger Kate Hansen, who is part of the US Olympics team, posted the video to Twitter as well as on YouTube under the username katehansen92 along with a tweet saying 'wolf in my hall'.

The Independent reports that Hansen, who stayed in her room, caught on film a big wolf-like animal and she opened the door just wide enough to catch a glimpse of the big dog walking around the hotel corridor.

 

Hansen also commented on YouTube that she is sure the animal roaming around her hotel halls is a wolf, and the report added that her video amassed over 20,000 views on the video-sharing site.

However, many people were skeptical regarding the identity of the animal, with some users saying that the animal is just a big dog, although many slammed the hotel's failure to control animals wandering around their halls, the report added.
