Wawrinka joins Nadal in final four of World Tour Finals with win over Ferrer

Swiss ace Stanislas Wawrinka has defeated Spaniard David Ferrer 6-7 (3/7), 6-4, 6-1 and has entered the last four of the ATP World Tour Finals.
Wawrinka will join world number one Rafael Nadal in the final four after Nadal beat Czech Tomas Berdych 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 on the fifth day of the ATP World Tour Finals at London's O2 Arena on Friday.
According to Sport24, Wawrinka said that he is pleased with his battling effort against Ferrer, who fought bravely even if he was out of semi-final contention, in just over two and a quarter hours after throwing away the first set while leading 5-2 but losing in a tiebreaker.
Wawrinka committed a massive 30 unforced errors in the 61-minute first set against Ferrer, the report added.
