White House staffers nicknamed President as 'Obam-me', says Peggy Noonan

The White House staffers have nicknamed President Barack Obama as "Obam-me" for his self-boosting behaviour, a Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan said.

Noonan said she heard a few senators taking the unflattering nickname for their boss in their chats, Newsmax reports.

She wrote in her column that she guessed the second-term team was not quite as adoring as the first one and they think it's all about Obama and his big thoughts.

The criticism comes as Noonan joins rest of Republicans in complaining about the president's apparent self-absorption.
