Wooplr hires Koovs' Rajesh Kamra, Arvind Sports' Rajiv Mehta

App-based fashion discovery platform Wooplr has roped in founder of fashion ecommerce venture Koovs' Rajesh Kamra for its new initiatives in social commerce. Also, the fashion app has hired Rajiv Mehta, chief executive officer of Arvind Sports and Fashion brands as a senior advisor for an equity stake.
"Offline brands such as Zara, Forever 21 among others have partnered with us to reach out to their target group. We are now eying expansion by adding long tail merchants," said Arjun Zacharia, chief executive officer of Wooplr.
The social-buying platform typically earns 20 percent commission per transaction through its portal.
"The technology integration we do provides value to offline brands which haven't been digitised so far," said Rajesh Kamra who has been working on his second venture.
