Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has reportedly purchased Palo Alto's oldest funeral home.

Mayer has purchased the 114-year-old Roller and Hapgood and Tinney home, which is just down the street from Mayer's current home valued at 5.2 million dollars.

According to the New York Post, Mayer is said to be buying the 1.16-acre site at 980 Middlefield Road, valued at around 850,000 dollars, including its parking lot.

However, president and owner of the funeral home Paul Roller denied being aware of the buyer's identity citing the deal was done through a limited liability corporation.

Roller said that they sold the land to an LLC by the name of 980 Middlefield Road LLC adding that he didn't know who the managing director is.

He further revealed that the 980 Middlefield LLC started out as Additto LLC before changing its name and California records show that Additto shares the same estate-planning lawyer and address as another LLC, Mellunmaki that lists Marissa Mayer as an officer.

The report further added Roller saying that Mayer could be the possible buyer to the real-estate broker because she often rents out the funeral home's parking lot for parties.
