Asahi India Glass consolidated net profit rises 114.17% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 3.79% to Rs 597.05 crore

Net profit of Asahi India Glass rose 114.17% to Rs 50.63 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 23.64 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 3.79% to Rs 597.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 575.27 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 51.04% to Rs 131.33 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 86.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.50% to Rs 2372.99 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2207.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
