Australia Market ends 0.2% lower

Australia stock market finished session lower on Thursday, 17 May 2018, as the country's second largest bank by market cap went ex-dividend, and the industrial and healthcare sectors lost ground. Though gains in materials and energy sectors helped limit the overall losses. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index dropped 12.7 points, or 0.21%, to 6,094.3 points, while the broader All Ordinaries index shed 10.9 points, or 0.18%, to 6,197.2 points.
