Beekay Steel Industries net profit rises 225.28% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales decline 23.53% to Rs 113.29 crore

Net profit of Beekay Steel Industries rose 225.28% to Rs 5.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 1.78 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 23.53% to Rs 113.29 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 148.15 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the full year,net profit rose 4.85% to Rs 19.03 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 18.15 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 2.40% to Rs 570.09 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 556.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
