Bengal Tea & Fabrics reports standalone net loss of Rs 5.53 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 7.44% to Rs 54.46 crore

Net Loss of Bengal Tea & Fabrics reported to Rs 5.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 3.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.44% to Rs 54.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 50.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 4.93 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against net profit of Rs 1.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 3.73% to Rs 214.97 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 223.31 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
