Bharat Forge standalone net profit declines 51.65% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 30.29% to Rs 1466.61 crore

Net profit of Bharat Forge declined 51.65% to Rs 100.33 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 207.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 30.29% to Rs 1466.61 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1125.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 20.89% to Rs 707.30 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 585.07 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 37.55% to Rs 5315.97 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 3864.67 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
