Biocon consolidated net profit declines 42.26% in the March 2020 quarter

Sales rise 3.41% to Rs 1581.00 crore

Net profit of Biocon declined 42.26% to Rs 123.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 213.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019. Sales rose 3.41% to Rs 1581.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 1528.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019.

For the full year,net profit declined 17.35% to Rs 748.20 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 905.30 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales rose 15.46% to Rs 6367.20 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 5514.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
