Biocon standalone net profit declines 43.72% in the March 2022 quarter

Sales rise 5.31% to Rs 517.70 crore

Net profit of Biocon declined 43.72% to Rs 38.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 67.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. Sales rose 5.31% to Rs 517.70 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 491.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021.

For the full year,net profit declined 69.30% to Rs 86.10 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 280.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2021. Sales declined 14.31% to Rs 1738.20 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 2028.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2021.
