Birla Corporation consolidated net profit rises 51.91% in the March 2020 quarter

Sales decline 9.76% to Rs 1689.97 crore

Net profit of Birla Corporation rose 51.91% to Rs 194.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 128.19 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019. Sales declined 9.76% to Rs 1689.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 1872.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019.

For the full year,net profit rose 97.58% to Rs 505.18 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 255.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales rose 5.60% to Rs 6915.69 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 6548.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
