Birla Cotsyn India reports net loss of Rs 28.49 crore in the June 2013 quarter

Sales decline 73.93% to Rs 33.01 crore

Net Loss of Birla Cotsyn India reported to Rs 28.49 crore in the quarter ended June 2013 as against net loss of Rs 1.40 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2012. Sales declined 73.93% to Rs 33.01 crore in the quarter ended June 2013 as against Rs 126.63 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2012.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 139.69 crore in the year ended June 2013 as against net profit of Rs 1.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales declined 55.93% to Rs 329.74 crore in the year ended June 2013 as against Rs 748.17 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
