Britannia Industries consolidated net profit rises 24.77% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 12.55% to Rs 2509.87 crore

Net profit of Britannia Industries rose 24.77% to Rs 263.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 210.91 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 12.55% to Rs 2509.87 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 2230.04 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 13.49% to Rs 1003.96 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 884.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 9.68% to Rs 9829.52 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 8962.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
