Canara Bank reports standalone net loss of Rs 3905.49 crore in the March 2016 quarter

Total Operating Income decline 3.34% to Rs 10732.91 crore

Net loss of Canara Bank reported to Rs 3905.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 612.96 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Total Operating Income declined 3.34% to Rs 10732.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 11103.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 2812.82 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 2702.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Total Operating Income rose 0.62% to Rs 44022.13 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 43750.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
