Capital Goods shares fall
Capital Goods stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index falling 52.38 points or 0.46% at 11247.06 at 13:53 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Larsen & Toubro Ltd (up 1.59%), Grindwell Norton Ltd (up 1.2%), Schaeffler India Ltd (up 0.69%), Honeywell Automation India Ltd (up 0.41%), and Finolex Cables Ltd (up 0.23%), were the top losers.
On the other hand, Bharat Forge Ltd (up 4.28%), AIA Engineering Ltd (up 3.29%), and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (up 1.61%) moved up.
At 13:53 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 331.15 or 1.07% at 31149.76.
The Nifty 50 index was up 88.95 points or 0.98% at 9155.5.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 152.16 points or 1.45% at 10624.53.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 53.84 points or 1.45% at 3768.97.
On BSE,1385 shares were trading in green, 695 were trading in red and 152 were unchanged.
