Capital Goods stocks edge lower

Capital Goods stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index decreasing 177.32 points or 1.06% at 16518.21 at 13:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Sadbhav Engineering Ltd (down 3.46%), Schaeffler India Ltd (down 2.58%),Bharat Electronics Ltd (down 2.36%),Havells India Ltd (down 2.11%),Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (down 2.01%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd (down 1.3%), Honeywell Automation India Ltd (down 1.05%), Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (down 0.61%), SKF India Ltd (down 0.59%), and Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd (down 0.43%).

On the other hand, HEG Ltd (up 3.05%), Graphite India Ltd (up 1.59%), and NBCC (India) Ltd (up 1.07%) turned up.

 

At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 59.38 or 0.15% at 40299.26.

The Nifty 50 index was up 15.2 points or 0.13% at 11872.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 9.77 points or 0.07% at 13135.5.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 9.81 points or 0.21% at 4619.32.

On BSE,861 shares were trading in green, 1419 were trading in red and 193 were unchanged.
