Net profit of Chennai Petroleum Corporation declined 27.15% to Rs 265.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 364.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 33.47% to Rs 5863.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 8813.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 770.68 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 38.99 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 37.92% to Rs 25980.00 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 41847.48 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
