Consumer Durables shares gain
Consumer Durables stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index rising 60.66 points or 0.24% at 25048.57 at 09:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Bajaj Electricals Ltd (up 0.79%), Voltas Ltd (up 0.64%), Titan Company Ltd (up 0.63%), Blue Star Ltd (up 0.63%), V I P Industries Ltd (up 0.58%), and Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.4%), were the top gainers.
On the other hand, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (down 1.78%), Symphony Ltd (down 0.7%), and Whirlpool of India Ltd (down 0.25%) moved lower.
At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 44.09 or 0.11% at 40443.34.
The Nifty 50 index was down 11.25 points or 0.09% at 11926.25.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 1.8 points or 0.01% at 13278.7.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 1.17 points or 0.03% at 4656.36.
On BSE,634 shares were trading in green, 788 were trading in red and 64 were unchanged.
