Consumer Durables stocks edge lower
Consumer Durables stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index decreasing 271.89 points or 1.09% at 24739.66 at 13:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Titan Company Ltd (down 2.23%), Blue Star Ltd (down 1.42%), Whirlpool of India Ltd (down 1.26%), Symphony Ltd (down 0.72%), and Voltas Ltd (down 0.39%), were the top losers.
On the other hand, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 1.04%), Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.77%), and Orient Electric Ltd (up 0.35%) turned up.
At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 52.53 or 0.13% at 41306.27.
The Nifty 50 index was up 14.15 points or 0.12% at 12182.6.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 86.58 points or 0.63% at 13785.95.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 23.49 points or 0.49% at 4796.68.
On BSE,1265 shares were trading in green, 976 were trading in red and 171 were unchanged.
