Electrosteel Castings standalone net profit rises 104.88% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 9.79% to Rs 540.10 crore

Net profit of Electrosteel Castings rose 104.88% to Rs 22.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 11.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 9.79% to Rs 540.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 491.94 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 39.20% to Rs 46.99 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 77.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 6.09% to Rs 1943.66 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1832.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
