Emami standalone net profit declines 51.79% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 20.19% to Rs 595.85 crore

Net profit of Emami declined 51.79% to Rs 63.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 132.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 20.19% to Rs 595.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 495.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 30.52% to Rs 327.67 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 471.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 17.79% to Rs 2387.01 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2026.54 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
