Esab India reports standalone net profit of Rs 9.37 crore in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 7.66% to Rs 113.34 crore

Net profit of Esab India reported to Rs 9.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 1.38 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 7.66% to Rs 113.34 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 105.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 19.88% to Rs 28.34 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 23.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 18.03% to Rs 447.23 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 545.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
