Ester Industries reports standalone net loss of Rs 0.29 crore in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 11.97% to Rs 181.82 crore

Net loss of Ester Industries reported to Rs 0.29 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 3.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 11.97% to Rs 181.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 206.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 18.75% to Rs 4.56 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 14.16% to Rs 762.39 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 888.16 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
