GNA Axles hits the roof after strong Q1 results

GNA Axles was locked at upper circuit of 20% at Rs 283.60 at 14:53 IST on BSE after the company's consolidated net profit rose 29.9% to Rs 18.18 crore on 21.37% increase in total income to Rs 258.17 crore in Q1 June 2019 over Q1 June 2018.
The announcement was made during trading hours today, 12 July 2019.
Meanwhile, S&P BSE Sensex was down 52.20 points or 0.13% at 38,770.91.
On BSE, 83,000 shares were traded in GNA Axles counter, compared to a 2-week average of 4,788 shares. The share price hit an intraday high of Rs 283.60 and an intraday low of Rs 238.10. It hit a 52-week high of Rs 478 on 12 July 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 235 on 11 July 2019.
Shares of GNA Axles fell 11.85% in the past five trading sessions to settle at Rs 236.35 yesterday, 11 July 2019, from its close of Rs 268.15 on 4 July 2019.
GNA Axles has a variety of axle shafts, producing about 2 million axle shafts annually.
