Grasim Industries consolidated net profit declines 20.37% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 74.46% to Rs 17437.95 crore

Net profit of Grasim Industries declined 20.37% to Rs 846.92 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1063.62 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 74.46% to Rs 17437.95 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 9995.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 13.08% to Rs 3690.19 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 4245.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 55.81% to Rs 56198.03 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 36068.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
