Gujarat Industries Power Co standalone net profit rises 29.70% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 8.95% to Rs 333.35 crore

Net profit of Gujarat Industries Power Co rose 29.70% to Rs 82.45 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 63.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 8.95% to Rs 333.35 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 366.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 21.77% to Rs 229.24 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 188.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 3.12% to Rs 1303.81 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1345.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
