Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation net profit rises 28.51% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 2.44% to Rs 453.34 crore

Net profit of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation rose 28.51% to Rs 191.84 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 149.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 2.44% to Rs 453.34 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 442.56 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 26.91% to Rs 439.13 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 600.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 22.99% to Rs 1289.67 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1674.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
