HDFC Bank to acquire additional 4.95% stake in NSDL
HDFC Bank is acquiring 19,79,900 equity shares (4.95% stake) of National Securities Depository (NSDL) for cash consideration of Rs 163.34 crore. Post the acquisition, the Bank will hold 9.95% of the paid up share capital of NSDL. The transaction is expected to be completed by end of December 2018.
