Hindalco Industries standalone net profit declines 24.98% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 5.94% to Rs 11681.10 crore

Net profit of Hindalco Industries declined 24.98% to Rs 376.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 502.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 5.94% to Rs 11681.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 11026.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 7.73% to Rs 1436.49 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1556.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 15.87% to Rs 42798.04 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 36936.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
