Among the other constituents of the index, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd decreased 3.96% and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd lost 2.98% on the day. The S&P BSE Energy index went up 21.3 % over last one year compared to the 13.06% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
